i see that its not about when we learn the lesson, its simply that we learn it.
and we learn when we are ready, not a moment before.
i believe there is only the hard way. subjective of course, everyones difficulty spectrum is different.
on a spiritual level, my take is that our soul is ageless, the human body degrades over time, the soul lives on.
these are not lessons for a lifetime, but lessons to carry into the next one.
i'd recommend having a look at life paths and the soul's journey, kinda like the heroes journey, they are topics i resonate deeply with. maybe you will too!
Absolutely agree about the body as mine has deteriorated badly with the cancer, but conversely my spirit and mind have compensated and in that respect I’m stronger and more resilient. The saying that you never feel so alive as when you’re dying is so true!
